Residency at the theatre De Nieuwe Vorst

Back to The Netherlands for 2 weeks of creation/research about sound and movement. The first step was to rebuild the table without breaking anything. Then we had the chance to borrow some material from the theater to test some sound effects.
We would like to thanks the technicians for all their help, as well as the Makershuis to give us the opportunity to research and create this new show.
Residency in Reims

First residency for our new project Hug. We built a prototype of the “table” we would like to have, and we tried to see what is possible with it. We would like to thanks Le Temps des Cerises for the nice welcome we had, and all the fead backs you gave us about our work will be really useful for the future !

Due to the current situation, we were able to find each other and organise a residency. We started creating movement and music, and here is a 4-hand piano piece that we composed together.

Music and movement

In 2020, we decided to start a new research, around music and movement. How can music be more than a support for the movement. How can movement create sound, how, what, this is what we are searching these days.
We would like to go away from the usual combination of the two, and go more towards music played and performed with and by a performer. Therefore, trying to achieve having the movement supporting the music instead of the music supporting the movement, creating a real unity, or at least having a more intricate link between them.
